Lash Lift Aftercare Instructions
24 Hours Post-Treatment – Lash Lift Aftercare Guide
Be gentle with your lashes and avoid rubbing or touching them.
Avoid heat, steam, and water exposure, including:
-
Steamy showers
-
Cooking over heat (e.g. stovetop, hot pot, BBQ, oven)
-
Saunas, solariums, and facials
-
Blow-drying or heat-styling your hair
-
Intense workouts
-
Sitting close to room heaters or fireplaces
-
Washing lashes with hot water
Do not apply mascara, oils, or any products to your lashes.
Avoid pressure on your lashes, including eye masks or sleeping face-down.
Caring for Your Lash Lift
-
Brush your lashes thoroughly from roots to tips daily to maintain separation and best results.
-
Apply Lash Lift Aftercare Serum daily to hydrate and moisturise lashes, extend lift longevity, and support overall lash health.
-
Use Overnight Lash Mask twice weekly before bed to deeply condition, volumise, and support smoother grow-out.
-
Always be gentle with your lashes, especially when removing makeup. Avoid sleeping with pressure directly on them.
-
You can wear mascara after 24 hours, but apply Aftercare Serum first to protect your lift.
-
Avoid waterproof mascara - it dries out lashes, is difficult to remove, and may compromise your results.
-
Avoid oil-based cleansers, balms, or makeup wipes on lashes.
-
Remove mascara gently using a wet face cloth and oil-free cleanser, ideally in the shower or with warm running water. Wipe lashes downward softly - do not rub or tug.
-
Avoid wearing false lashes, as they may distort the shape of your lift.
-
Lash growth serums applied like eyeliner are safe to continue, but must be paired with a lash lift aftercare serum to prevent dryness or dehydration.
-
Avoid applying oils, retinol, strong actives, or heavy creams directly to your lashes - this may weaken or relax the lift.
-
Do not use castor oil on a lash lift - it can cause brittleness and dehydration to the lashes, when they are treated with a lash lift. Only use aftercare specifically formulated for lash lifts.
Lash Growth & Your Lift
The longevity of your lash lift depends on your natural lash cycle:
-
Fast lash cycle → Lift lasts 6–10 weeks
-
Slow lash cycle → Lift lasts 10–14 weeks
We naturally shed 3-6 lashes per day - this is completely normal.
Each lash is at a different stage of growth. After a lash lift, lashes continue to grow:
-
Some will stay perfectly lifted
-
Some may be lifted at the tip or mid-way
-
New growth may be straight
As lashes near the end of their cycle, they may loosen, shift, or twist.
Daily brushing helps keep them aligned and looking neat as they grow out.
When Should I Book My Next Lash Lift?
To maintain consistent lifted lashes, rebook your lift approximately every 3 months.
This allows for full regrowth and ensures you're lifting fresh, healthy lashes each time.
Your Lashes Are Lifted - Make Them Last
Just like your skin needs moisture after a facial, your lashes need daily hydration after a lift.
-
Lash Lift = 60%
-
Aftercare = 40%
In addition to a little extra care & daily brushing, using a lash lift aftercare serum is a non-negotiable necessity.
Lash lifts are designed to be low maintenance - not no maintenance.
A Lash Lift Aftercare Serum is specifically formulated to provide the correct nutrients your lashes need after getting a lash lift.
It helps to moisturise your lashes from within helping them appear fuller, thicker, shinier, softer & grow out smoother.
Without using a Lash Lift Aftercare Serum, your lashes can feel dehydrated & affect the look of your lashes - just like skipping conditioner on hair wash day.
Lash Lift Aftercare Serum
When to apply the lash lift aftercare serum:
- Every time you wash your face (AM & PM)
Before mascara to protect your lashes.
